
Filled with surprises was Roar before the Rolex 24 as the unprecedented temperature did hamper the first day of the race but at last the race look place. The test race was enjoyed both by the champion drivers of Godstone Ranch Motorsports as well the audience who had come to support this team. The track of Daytona was freezing as well as wet because of the rainy conditions but Godstone Ranch Motorsports managed to perform beautifully in their brand new Corvette C6.R. Every racer wanted to race a little longer on the Daytona International Speedway track on Florida but the weather acted as the monster of disaster but whatever chance the expert racers got they never missed the chance. The Roar Before the Rolex 24 had never experienced such a weather but the weather was not the problem for this race as it saw some of the fastest laps ever. Rolex is sponsoring the event for the sports lovers who love to see the fast and furious cars with expert drivers. Brilliance has been the motto of Rolex and it is the brilliance of the champion driver to race in such weather conditions that Rolex tries to bring out.

Paul Edwards has tested the new car throughout the weekend. To help Paul Edwards was Tony Dowe who found that the car is not able to balance it as required. Tony Dowe still managed to run the fastest lap of 1m50.815s around the historic 3.56-mile, 12-turn speedway road course and showed how an expert drivers can drive. Scott Russell who is a motorcycle legend is preparing for his second round at the Rolex 24 At Daytona. He has his full season time when he raced on the track in the event. He really liked the track and showed his skills of impressive driving and his fans loved the way he drove. The 1990 Rolex 24 At Daytona champion Davy Jones was no stranger to the tracks of Daytona International Speedway. His experience was what the team required and his expert ideas and strategies really helped the team. John McCutchen was new to the tracks but he is a quick learner and he showed his fans that he can move any metallic machine with the speed of lighting.
All the four drivers want to run the new car to its optimum level because they want to win the race for the Texas Heart Institute. The cause for their victory is higher than thought of. They have come together to gather support not only from their fans but also to collect funds for a cause to help people. Winning is only possible if each expert driver uses his talent on the tracks for the upcoming race that is the Rolex 24 At Daytona which will take place on January 30-31st. The Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series is an effort to bring in the best of talent to drive the metallic beauties which can speed beyond the speed of lighting and create an enthusiasm with its speed for the audience. Sports lovers simply love to watch their champion drivers and they get excited when they hear about the Rolex 24 At Daytona.
